SwiftUI text clipping: test narrow layouts and Dynamic Type
Find a reproducible failure with long content, accessibility text sizes and keyboard-visible forms.
Start with a concrete failure
Choose a primary action with a long label and a form with validation text. Record the container size, content, language and text setting. A fixed font or single-line limit is a review signal, not proof that this screen is broken.
Separate the source change from the result
Try semantic styles such as .font(.body), allow essential labels to wrap, and keep action rows flexible. Review each constraint in context: changing every fixed width or removing every line limit can damage intentional UI. The free code check lets you inspect a small view before connecting a repository.
Exercise the uncomfortable combinations
Run the same journey at default and largest accessibility text sizes, with a long supported translation and a narrow scene. Show the keyboard and trigger an error. Confirm that the user can reach the focused field, read the error and activate the primary action. Repeat in supported right-to-left locales.
Save a useful baseline
Capture the source commit and named assertion alongside a screenshot. A clean source score or a screenshot alone cannot prove that controls remain usable. The transition pack provides a starting matrix; adapt its sample identifiers and assertions to your application.
